As long as I’ve been blogging, I am still unsure of the reblogging process, so forgive me if a stumble in my attempt to draw attention to Moondustwriter’s Blog post about her very personal experience with homelessness.

I would do it the same way you did; quoting the person and linking to their site. I once had my entire post reblogged without even a link to my site before. Not cool. But once I asked them for it, it was given. Reblogging is a great way to give attention to posts and authors we find touching or relevant in today’s world. Good job Linda.

Thanks, Renee. I don’t understand why WP doesn’t spend a bit more energy defining what “Reblogging” is, how to do it, and the parameters and etiquette involved. I thought I had seen a WP blog about the topic recently, but of course, when I went searching for that specific information, I found nothing useful. I also, always ask for permission before I reblog another person’s post.

Well, I just stumbled onto this WP article that talks a bit about reblogging. I guess I did it correctly, although I didn’t use the Reblog button because frankly, I couldn’t find it. Maybe that’s a setting option. (something I need to check.) I always prefer to notify people if I’m reblogging or linking back to them. Hi Linda, thanks for the link. I had a look. I am sure it is a good thing to be in touch with wordpress. I have been with wordpress since July 2010. It seems like a long time. I started just wanting to publish some of my memories so that my descendants would be able to find out what my life was about. Then more and more I also published things that were happening to me right now. I do not know, what this so called writers’s blog is, for surely there is always something or other happening in my life I would like to ‘talk’ about. I also like sometimes to put in writing some of my thoughts and feelings. It is not always the right time and place to find in the real world someone who can listen to what I want to say, even though my husband always tries to make time for me and I for him. Do not people take to writing hoping some one would like to read it?
Anyhow, I feel very grateful that over the years quite a few bloggers have taken to reading some of my stuff and commenting on it. It is always so rewarding to read the comments to something I have written or even something I reblogged. When I reblog something, it is usually something that I really find worth talking about. I reckon it is marvellous to get input from other bloggers!
