Did you do anything artsy fartsy with the collected glass? I’ve seen some really amazing things done with found objects. I think the bottle collection in the pictures above may have been from Dr. Swayne’s practice. I wrote a little about Cleo last year when I visited the Walter’s Ferry site. She was Dr. Swayne’s wife and the two of them collected many of the old, new, and odd things assembled at this location. There is a museum there, but it has never been open when I have visited. https://rangewriter.wordpress.com/2013/04/23/walters-ferry-aka-idahos-own-private-kitschworld/
Cool! I’m glad it works for you. Nice to hear from you Nel. Hey, are you still blogging, it just occurred to me, I haven’t seen anything by you for some time!
I’ve been blogging sporadically and travelling some (for business). I have written some stuff but they’re mostly drafts and bits. But, from the looks of things now, I’ll be up to speed.
I’ll let you know if I’m ever back in the US this year. 🙂
Thank you Otto. I’m so woefully behind. And you…you’re off on another adventure and yet you are able to stay current with all the balls you are juggling. How I admire that!
Is that a scooter or is it some transport for heavy things?

It’s a child’s scooter from days gone by. Cool, eh?

We used to collect old glass that the desert sun has colored when we lived in Lucerne Valley, out in the California section of the Mojave.

Love the Dodge photo. 🙂 Blue on blue (car on sky) is striking.

Heh, heh, I had to turn the car around and come back to that old truck for pictures of it.

Beautiful shots, Linda. My favorite is the third one from the top. Something about wheels is always so good. 🙂
